Dr. Jilinda Lewis

Since entering vet school in 1997 and joining Ark in 2001, Dr. Lewis has been most affected by the relationships she has developed with her animal patients and clients. When not at the clinic she enjoys gardening, playing with her son Alexandre and working with her personal animals.

Dr. Lewis has a dual degree DVM from Oregon State University and Washington State University. Dr. Lewis’ special interest in surgery prompted her to accept a one-year internship with a surgery specialty practice in Nevada in 2009. Having completed a surgical internship and extensive post-graduate surgical training, Dr. Lewis is comfortable with a wide range of surgical procedures including TPLO, FHO, JPS, BOAS in brachiocephalic breeds, fracture repair, extensive dental extractions/reconstruction, and many other complex surgical procedures. She is also PennHIP certified and performs OFA exams for certification.
